One of the main activity of Ylichron is to manage research projects aimed at developing advanced know-how which will be used in tomorrow's products.
Projects at Ylichron cover a wide area of science fields such as Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Signal Processing and so on. Ylichron contributes to such projects with the design of innovative hardware/software solutions and the implementation of high performance computing architectures.
Ongoing research projects are:
- Harwest: the main project of Ylichron;
- LAGS: a project aimed at designing and realizing a system for improving airport's safety and security;
- MultiComp: a project aimed at developing a source-to-source compiler for multi-core computing architectures;
